ALL apologies....................

Recommended Posts

although i was quite upset last nite.............i shouldn't have become unglued in the manner i did......for that i'm sorry.......now that i have vented i feel better......and i certainly " forgive them that trespass against us "

now....for the record..........the real reason is i haven't participated in the discussion in the june mock the last few years is due to the fact with the new iphone release every june...i am swamped at work- i have everyone and their brother calling me for this year's version...........this year has been worse than ever with demand.......we had over 600,000 pre-orders placed online and had to shut it down last tuesday...........i just don't have time....i barely have time to even follow the draft......i probably shouldn't have taken part this season.....but i wanted to set the record straight.......it's not about holding things up are delaying things intentionally.....i just don't have time.......i come to here to learn and get a feel for the upcoming season......not wage personal battles....it just becomes more of a struggle each year for me........i have hit the wall with fantasy football in the last year or so and i don't have much gas in the tank.....

anyway it's over.....i sent my two predrafted picks to big mike for 12.6

goodnite :lock:

Hi Clash,

It sounds as if work responsibilties are just to much for you to particpate in things that take a fair amount of dediction and time (checking in and what not). There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, however knowing that you probalby should not sign up to participate in the first place. As an anlogy, I coach and play in a softball league. I ask each and every guy that wants to play: "Are you going to committ to being here for every game?. If their answer is no, then I politely ask them not to play. It's way to difficult to coach a team when you never know who is going to show up. Forfiets happen and it takes away from the season.

I find it is much more admirable if you do not think you will be an active participant (whether it be your wok or family) to just not sign up. Sometimes it takes a time or two before you realize that by half assing a season (or draft) you are actually doing more harm than good. And there is nothing wrong with realizing that and bowing out next year. It's actually very comendable to realize that and "take one for the team".

It's one of the reasons when they were talking about the IBL I asked the question of how much time was involved. The reason I asked that was to guage whether I would be able to give 100% to it. Because if not, I would take my name out of consideration and let someone who could actively participate play instead. If I couldn't give 100% then somebody else who could should be on that team and not me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is you seem like a good guy, but due to work and whatnot it's probably a good idea for you to bow out of fantasy football drafts like this (maybe chime in on the picks) and simply stick to your normal local leagues. Just trying to help both you and everyone else.

Also, congrats on the Lakers.
