mantooth 0 Posted July 9, 2010 I am trying to copy profiles from last year. When I copy, I get a "Run-time error '1004' and says file cannot be found. I did not change anything and they are located in the same folder. Wondering if the program is looking for the directory path on a Windows machine? I have had this problem the last few years and had to end up re-entering all the info. Hoping for an easy fix. Thanks!
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 9, 2010 Hi mantooth. It is getting caught up looking for a Windows directory structure, but it should be a simple fix. 1. Open the prior year file in Excel. 2. Open the current year file in Excel, so both are open at the same time. 3. In the current year file, double check the prior year filename is correct (must be exact) and then hit Copy League Profiles. With both files open at the same time, then the first file should be able to easily find the second file. It doesn't even matter at that point if they are in the same directory. This works the same with the Compiler to Draft Buddy setup - on a Mac, both files should be open in Excel at the same time. Glad to have you back!
