Right now I have Eli penciled in as the starter Keep Eli and Flacco, but if your roster can accomodate, I would pick up Alex Smith. I think this is the year where he starts to show his ability. Boldin and Housh are possession receivers coming off subpar years so wait and see how that passing attack looks. As a niner fan, I wouldn't waste a roster spot on Alex Smith. Go with Eli, who will probably haev to throw vs. CAR who are good against the run.
