Week 2 Revis vs Moss....

Recommended Posts

Moss did not have a great week 1 vs the Bengals only 5 catches for 59 yards. And this week the Pats play alot better defense the JETS. We all know Revis held out but can we expect him to shut down Moss again like last year? In 2 games vs Jets and Revis last year Moss had 9 catches for 58 yards and a TD :shocking:

Last night Revis did not stick just to covering the Ravens #1 WR he played the left side. I just read where Rex Ryan said Revis will stick to Moss this week. :dunno:

from CBS:

Jets coach Rex Ryan said that DB Darrelle Revis will cover WR Randy Moss all day in Week 2. This is different from how they handled the Ravens in Week 1, when Revis just stayed on the left side of the field. "I thought it would be better for Darrelle to keep him in one spot where he wouldn’t have to travel all the time," Ryan said.

(Updated 09/14/2010).

Fantasy Analysis

Moss' owners must have been begging for Ryan to keep his coverage from the Ravens game in place for Week 2, but it won't be the case. Instead, Revis will track Moss all over the field and try to limit him like he has done in the past. In two games against the Jets last season, Moss totaled nine catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. While many Fantasy owners will find it hard to bench their No. 1 Fantasy WR, if you're in a smaller league and have another decent option with a good matchup, then feel free to think about replacing Moss.

I am playing Moss in all 4 of my leagues. This will be a huge challenge for MOSS and after his rant to press last week i see Brady getting him the ball even with Revis guarding him.

Ryan says Revis will stay on Moss but they may do better to put Revis on Welker.

I have Moss and Jets D :wall:

now that really sucks  The Taylor and Morris probably wont be able to run much vs Jets so Brady might throw it just a little bit. Im curious to see how the Patriots run defense does vs LT and Greene. Last night they did not look that great and Sanchez is brutal.
