Flex Decision - Greene, Felix, K. Walter

Recommended Posts

Full roster and restrictions in signature. I am 1-1 and playing one of the better teams in the league

Shon Greene v. MIA

3.4 fantasy points/week

MIA has given up 12th fewest points to RB's - 15.4 fantasy points/week to RBs (1.9 to Fred Jackson, 24 to AD)

ESPN Projection - 5 points

Felix Jones v. HOU

4.2 fantasy points/week

HOU has given up 6th fewest points to RB's-14 points/week to RBs (7.9 to Addai, 15 to Portis)

ESPN Projection - 4 points

Kevin Walter v. DAL

15.1 fantasy points/week

DAL has given up 13th fewest points to WR's - 17 points/week to WR's (7.7 to S. Moss, 13.7 to Hester)

ESPN Projection - 12 points

I don't like starting a WR normally as my flex, but maybe that's the move this week? Is it unnecessarily risky to start both Andre and Kevin Walter?

I am playing against an owner that is starting Tony Romo. Do I handcuff Romo's points in hopes that Felix grabs a screen pass and breaks it for a big one?

I'll answer yours...

Tough call between Green and Walter (avoid Jones this week!), but since you're in a non-PPR I would only slightly lean towards Greene.

Tough call, and I agree with your (normal) logic, however, the way Walter's playing is too tough to ignore.

Especially with the way that LT has taken over the reigns for the JETS and the 3-headed monster in Big D!

Plus, (as a Romo owner), I'm hoping for a shootout...in which Walter may grab 1 or 2!

Good luck.

Please help with mine.

I'd go Walter as he and Jacoby could have a big day. Dallas has no choice but to cover Andre Johnson and to try and stop Arian Foster out of the backfield. That leaves Jacoby and Walter as man-covered targets for Schaub. I know Dallas is in a must win, but I don't think they can do it. Their line just isn't up to it.

Greene is a poor play as long as LT is the hot hand. Greene is getting about 1/3 of the total carries and it is obvious that Ryan has more faith in LT so the goal-line carries will go to LT until Greene proves otherwise or LT goes down.

Felix for as much as he is talented, just isn't consistent enough to be worth it.
