cheesesteaks 0 Posted October 26, 2010 With Romo out will the Cowboys lean more on their running game? Will Felix Jones be a top RB from here on out? Since Kitna is better at short/medium passes maybe he swings out more screens and short passes to Felix. Or will the offense as a whole struggle and hurt Felix Jones? I might consider trading Felix after he runs against Jacksonville.
mgs316 14 Posted October 26, 2010 Until he scores a TD he's not even a #3.
cheesesteaks 0 Posted October 26, 2010 Yes TDs have been a problem, but without Romo they have to lean on the running game. That is the only way they can win games. I see Felix as no worse than a #2 RB now.
Militia 0 Posted October 26, 2010 Seeing the way he's been playing since he put on weight in the offseason, he isn't worth squat.
DexterMorgan 5 Posted October 26, 2010 What in gods name would make you think he's a #1 RB?
Blakeyson 0 Posted October 26, 2010 Felix jones weight is a non issue. Read up on it before posting the same recycled news. Dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=d617c2a2-d97c-a496-6fa7efff7eca7de9 He is back down to 215 and the majority of that extra weight was in his chest and is now gone. Anyways, felix isn't a number 1 rb, but I expect his numbers to rise. I expect a more ground oriented game plan with shots downfield to keep the d honest. Whether he's running or catching the check down, Felix is going to see more work now that romo is gone.
