browns16-0 30 Posted November 5, 2010 1 pt PPR league. I have 3 wr's on bye or injured. Mike Williams (Sea), or Danny Woodhead (thank you Yahoo for listing him as rb/wr)? My matchup we are about equal, I just think Williams has more upside to me. I know Whitehurst is playing. But, he did have a ton of yardage numbers in the pre-season, and I expect the Seahawks to be playing from behind. Am I crazy, as I know Woodhead seems like the better play, but my gut says roll the dice.
mike82 0 Posted November 6, 2010 I think it can go either way here, and it depends on your situation. IF you are just looking for a spot start this week, and not planning on starting (or even keeping) either of these guys after this week, then I'd go with Woodhead. I think he will get a good amount of work against the Browns, and I think the Pats will be ahead but will still look to run up the score. On the other hand, if you are looking for production beyond this week, I would go with Mike Williams, as he has a lot more upside in my opinion but has a really terrible match up with a backup qb this week. TV's Frank 0 Posted November 6, 2010 I agree. I like Williams more long-term, but I would play Woodhead over him this week. As if Whitehurst starting wasn't bad enough, the weather in Seattle is supposed to be sloppy, which will just make the passing game that much worse. Just doesn't look good for Williams at all. JMAC00025 0 Posted November 6, 2010 Tough one but I guess I agree with the others. No better free agent options?
CornKobb 48 Posted November 6, 2010 i like wood head.....no reason except constant dumpoffs from brady who is better than tryn to throw 19ydrs to mwilliams. woodhead.
Maroon Bells 18 Posted November 6, 2010 I like Williams more. He's the number one receiver on a team that likes to throw. And ever since they traded Branch, he's put up nice numbers. The only time he didn't, he faced the league's 2nd best corner and was hurt. I think he rebounds in this game.
fostersfutbol 1 Posted November 6, 2010 You looked at it right. Woodhead is safer play, but Williams probably more upside, as seattle WILL be playing from behind. However the weather report is rain and more rain so may not be a good day for passing offense. If it were me i'd do with woodhead.
