southcarolina 166 Posted December 16, 2010 I wonder if this means paps is gone....I have a hard time believing anyone is going to give up much for him, and Theo doesnt usually just give guys away, unless they are causing Manny-esque problems off the field. Gonzales is a nice player, sure he'll get you 40 HRs and 125 RBIs or so, but isnt nearly as flexible as Patterson. Guy can play 2nd and all three OF positions, and can pinch run. Gonzales is strictly a 1B/DH, on a team just chock full of 1B/DH's. And using Gonzo as a pinch runner would be suicide. Horrible move. Theo done lost his mind.
