listen2me 23 1,978 Posted April 10, 2011 Good card here for Strikeforce. Shinya Aoki vs. Lyle Beerbohm - Aoki was recently ranked as the #2 LW in the world. Japan MMA star and a submission specialist. I've always considered him dangerous, but overall he's overrated. He could be the most dangerous submission artist at LW, icluding Penn, Sotiripolis, ect. He has a limited game tho. When he came to the U.S. and fought Melendez (SF Champ) he couldn't do anything because Melendez has wrestling. And he has an overall game, including sub defense. Aoki still finds a way to sub the average fighter. Beerbohm only has 1 loss and has decent wrestling. Pick: Aoki 2nd round heelhook. Gergard Mousasi vs. Keith Jardine - Jardine is a late replacement for Mike Kyle. Jardine has been out of the UFC for a while now and hasn't even looked good in smaller organzitions. Mousasi is another overrated fighter though. He has a nice looking record and is only..24? But he hasn't fought many top 10 fighters at his weight. In his title fight vs. Mo, he flat gassed. That said, he wins foreign boxing medals, he has what is said to be a great submission game (Sambo). Jardine is a tricky guy who is hungry. He should have absolutly no chance in this fight. But could bring it and Mousasi may underestimate him. And maybe Mousasi gasses again. Jardine won't. Pick: The DEAN OF MEAN 1 time! by KO. Melendez vs. Kawajiri - Melendez is the better fighter with no distict disadvantage. I like Kawajiri, he is a top 10 LW. But Melendez is just better at everything. Similar fighters. Melendez won't gas, Kawajiri might. Title fight 5 rounds. Nate Diaz vs. Paul Daley - Diaz should take him down and sub him and avoid Daley's power (left hook)...he wins easy.
