pimptastic69 0 Posted August 20, 2011 The Compiler was invaluable in redrafts, but since my league has "gone keeper", not so much. Unless I'm missing something, how can I use the Compiler to aid me in my drafts, when 1/4 of the players are already spoken for? Â I guess what I'm saying is, other than crossing them out manually, "How can I remove kept players from the compiler list, and then re-sort it?" Â Does that make sense? Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 20, 2011 Hey pimp. The CC/DB does support keepers, and in doing that it essentially lets you put in the keepers, and it marks them off the cheatsheets. The cheatsheets get produced as if the draft was starting from scratch, then input keepers, and sure, the kept guys are still listed there but marked off, so work from there. Does that make sense? Mike FF Today 723 Posted August 21, 2011 Yes it will. Have you input your leagues keeper options on the "rules" tab?
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 21, 2011 Once you've input the kept players, it will be easy to identify the remaining available players and who is the best available.
pimptastic69 0 Posted August 21, 2011 To be honest, I haven't purchased the Compiler this year. I have for the last 4 or 5 years, but for the reasons stated above, I've declined this year. Â Looking back on my 2010 version, I don't see a "Rules" tab. Is this something new this year, or has it been there all along? Â I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot, and I realize this program has a lot of things going on...but in the past I've simply purchased the program for the value it provides in a redraft league. I've never clicked on those other tabs.
Mike FF Today 723 Posted August 21, 2011 The CC/DB is able to handle keepers. You set up your keepers on the "rules" tab in the 2011 version. You can see a screenshot of the "rules" tab here.

I've moved a lot of things around, and the big change from prior years is the Cheatsheet Compiler & Draft Buddy are now combined into one file. That is what caused a number of other changes, plus trying to make it more user-friendly. I was mis-understanding, I thought you already had the file in front of you. In the past did you use Draft Buddy at all? Some people didn't use it and simply used the Cheatsheet Compiler to create their custom cheatsheets, print them off and away they went to their draft. Draft Buddy had the keeper options in it previously, which is why you may not have noticed them before.
