Pre-Set Scoring

Recommended Posts

Mike, et al.

On the "Scoring" tab, I selected "ESPN" to get their standard scoring downloaded to save me a lot of typing. Hit "Get scoring" and got the following error message:

Run-time error '438':

Object doesn't support this property or method

I'm on Mac Excel 2011 with all security options enabled for full capability.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Alan

Hey Alan. Does the "Check for Update" work for you? It is on the action tab.

Yep, it does. Did an update a couple of days ago. [When's the next update by the way - Arian Foster is looking riskier, and my draft is this Thursday?]

The next update is Thursday morning, so you'll be in good shape there. Plus that gives us a few days to hopefully hear more news on how serious this might be.

On the update thing, I'm glad it works but then surprised the scoring import does not work, since they should work the same way. Did you ever get that to work.

I got your email, and laughed :D

Update always worked and brought in your most recent estimates. My troubles were with importing data from my 2010 compiler, and importing the ESPN scoring. After I took your advice and upgraded from v1.0 to v2.2, the ESPN Import worked. LOVE IT. I then no longer needed to import from my 2010, so never tried it. I assume that works, as you are my Excel god. :-)
