Ryan Grant? Any value at all?

Recommended Posts

Starks is clearly the better RB & the coaches seem intent to give him most of the opportunities.

Obviously if something were to happen to Starks, Grants value would skyrocket, but what's his worth now?

#4 at best in your RB corp?

He was highly touted once. The Jamal Charles of a couple years ago.

But yeah ... Starks is the younger, more durable, less miles version and should soon be the #1 in GB. Pretty much kills Grant's value this year. And he would have to break out, again, to have value next year.

Yeah, pretty much what I figured. I've tried to shop him w/o any interest. :(

Probably the only thing you can do is hold grant and wait.....and wait.....and wait... :music_guitarred:

I agree. he has no value currently, and your options are to dump him for nothing or wait until something happens to shoot his value back up. No guarantee that the second option happens.

I scouted him about a 2 years ago and found him to be lacking. he would put up yards when the line opened up holes for him. (this game they were opening up holes big enough to drive a truck through) but when the line didnt open up a hole, he was unable to get extra yards or break tackles. I was mostly unimpressed at that time.

Now a prospect (starks)came in who looked good and seems to be able to break a tackle or two and I jumped on the wagon.... mostly due to the fact I was unimpressed with what I saw in Grant before. I got him for a dollar in my auction league, and havnt regretted the purchase.
