cyclone24 1,964 Posted October 14, 2011 I dunno, maybe he has enough money and is tired of getting his ass kicked and zero respect as a starting QB. He could be ready to take his paycheck and work as a backup somewhere, at least then he's not being scrutinized every day, he still gets to be involved in professional football. Maybe he likes the idea of helping develop a young guy as well, who knows. I get the feeling hes just had enough...and honestly...its not like he hasnt had several opportunities to lead teams and be successful. Plenty of qb's dont get the starting opportunities he has. I thought the same thing....hes only 28.....but i dunno.....he seems ready to just go somewhere and be a backup. Having said that.....i cant see someone ever turn down a starting gig.....but what do i know.
effective 0 Posted October 14, 2011 I'd turn it down if I had the kind of money these players have. But I'm lazy, hence why I'm behind a keyboard.
