SFGeek 0 Posted October 15, 2011 How's Blount look for the long haul? Is the knee worse then it seems? I've been offered Blount and Gonzo for Wells. I have Finley, but could use another good TE. Should I pull?

TheDreamCafe 0 Posted October 16, 2011 i like blount potential through the rest of the year over beanie's, but if you don't have a comfortable rb to replace him for another 3 weeks, don't make that trade

Ray_T 798 Posted October 16, 2011 How's Blount look for the long haul? Is the knee worse then it seems? I've been offered Blount and Gonzo for Wells. I have Finley, but could use another good TE. Should I pull? I think it depends on what your team looks like and what the rules of your league would be.... first: does Gonzo help you at TE? He is no longer elite, but he is serviceable. Second: is the league a keeper or a redraft league? third: do you have another RB that can get it done while waiting for Blount to return to the lineup? Fourth: if this is a keeper league, where are you in the standings? in the hunt? or playing for next year? You need to ask yourself all of these questions. I cant give you a good answer because I dont know what your lineup looks like or what the rules of your league are. to that end, I will do the best I can: Blount is better than Wells when healthy. no question about that. Blount isnt healthy. Beanie is healthy, but has a bit of a history of getting hurt so the fact he has offered up Gonzo likely means he is acknowledging this. The deal looks fair. That's all I'm willing to say at this time.
