Why is your deadline so late? NFL trading is over and most FF Leagues play a 13 week schedule, It seems about right to me.

Why is it early? Its not learly this week or next. Its to help avoid collusion, and have people make a dececison if they want to tank this season and fire sale for future draaft picks

i'm the co-commish in my league and we decided on a few days after this weeks games....can't have people trying to corruptly make trades.

one of the reasons is you don't want a 9-2 team trading with a 2-9 team, for example. This is especially true for redraft leagues. Also if you don't have your team set up for the stretch run by week 9 maybe you should try a different game.
