QBs Tebow and Bradford

RBs McCoy, McFadden, and as of right now Ball

WRs Jennings, Gronkowski, B. Lloyd and J. Ford

Kickers and Def do not matter for this one.

 

I am hesitant of starting Tebow rest of the year. QBs available on open market include T. Jax, Hasselback, M. Moore, and A. Smith.

 

I am looking at filling in Lumpkin, J. Battle, J. Stewart for Ball if McGehee plays. One week fill in.

 

Trades on the table are Palmer and Jordy Nelson for Jennings.

 

P. Rivers and Mario Manningham for Jennings.

 

I like the first one because Jordy is not much of a drop off from Jennings but I am afraid to get rid of Jennings. Palmer looks like an upgrade with minimal starts so far this year.

 

I like the second one because Rivers may be a no-brainer and I reeally like Mario M but he is a drop.

I think Phil Rivers has a higher ceiling than Palmer.

 

However, I like Nelson a lot more than I like Manningham.

 

Tough call, but I go with option 1. You can play matchups between Palmer and Tebow.

To me, it's option 1 by a lot. I really think there is something wrong with Rivers and do not think it will get better again soon. Losing Jennings for Jordy Nelson is not a huge dropoff in my opinion. GB likes to spread the ball around often and there will be MANY opportunities in the offense.. sometimes Nelson is even more targeted than Jennings due to double coverage on Jennings.

 

Go for Option 1.

I agree this is a tough one because there are highs and lows to both deals. If I had a gun to my head I would go with the first one and mainly because I like Nelson over Manningham, if ya can't have the #1wr in GB why not get #2 and Palmer has been playing well so hopefully that keeps up and he has a nice schedule so it could work out well for ya. I'm not completely sold on Rivers. good luck.
