Hasselbeck or Tarvaris Jackson?

I've got Vick and Cutler injured, so I'm left with this rather odious choice. On the surface, Hass seems the obvious choice....but I also have Chris Johnson, and think Tennessee may run the ball a lot vs a bad Bucs rush defence. Is Tennessee capable of putting up good numbers both on the ground and through the air today? Also, what if Hass re-injures his arm early on?

With the options you have, I would go Hasselbeck. Washington has a good pass D, and with the Tampa run d being so bad, I think they may load the box to make sure the only way Tennesse beats them is through the air. I think Hasselbeck's injury was basically just a bruise, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I'd probably go with Hasselback. TB is a more beatable match-up then WAS right now for QB points. Mostly a gut feeling though.

+1 for Hasselbeck - Tampa defense sucks, both against the run and the pass.

Agreed with Hasselbeck. Jackson is just too inconsistent.

Go Hasselbeck. He won't go off but he'll give you 250 yards 1 - 2 TD and maybe 1 pick.

 

Jackson can turn the ball over in bunches and doesn't have much upside IMO.
