Another Keeper question

Looking for some Keeper advice-

 

14 team PPR league in which I have the 9th pick of a serpentine draft

Can keep 0-3 players from previous season but only 1 from each position

 

QUESTION 1-

Potential WR keepers and I can only keep 1-

Mike Wallace will cost me a 5th round pick

OR

Eric Decker for a 15th round pick

*background info* some WRs keepers by other teams- Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, AJ Green, Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown, Stevie Johnson, Dwayne Bowe

 

Second question-

Keep Vernon Davis for a 3rd round pick

*background info* Gronk, Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernandez already designated as keepers by other teams. So, Davis would be arguably a top 2-4 TE available to be drafted.[/font]

Eric Decker as a 15th round pick is unbelievable. Keep him for sure if you are set on keeping a WR. As for Vernon, I wouldn't waste a third rounder on him. What are your other players?

I'm also keeping Peyton Hillis for an 8th round pick and hoping for a rejuvenation for him in KC. Otherwise, my QB was Sanchez last season....we were a 16 team league last season so QBs were tough to come by...no way I'm keeping him for a 4th round pick.

 

Only other decent options to keep would be Greg Jennings but he would cost me my first round pick.

 

On V.Davis, I'm just worried at the lack of middle tier TEs available to draft since Graham, Gronk, Hernandez are gone. But you are probably right, 3rd round is too high of a pick to use on Davis.

Decker for sure!

 

Davis for a 3rd is steep. I know you're thinking the TE group is thin, but after Graham/Gronk I think there are about 5 (V+F Davis, Hernandez, Pettigrew, Hernandez) that will be tier 2. Later targets include Celek, Tamme, Fleener, Tony G.

 

Hillis will be worth the 8th round pick for sure.
