Finbabble Garp 1 Posted April 5, 2013 What I wouldn't give to have my team injured or traded away. Instead, they're pitching. CC Sabathia - 5 IP, 8 H, 4 BB, 4 ER, 7.20 ERA, 2.40 WHIP Yovani Gallardo - 5 IP, 10 H, 1 BB, 3 ER, 5.40 ERA, 2.20 WHIP Wily Peralta - 5.1 IP, 6 H, 3 BB, 4 ER, 6.75 ERA, 1.69 WHIP Mark Buehrle - 5.1 IP, 7 H, 1 BB, 6 ER, 10.13 ERA, 1.50 WHIP Grant Balfour - 1 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 ER, 9.00 ERA, 2.00 WHIP Kameron Loe - 3 IP, 4 H, 0 BB, 2 ER, 6.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP Tom Gorzelanny - 1.1 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 ER, 6.75 ERA, 2.25 WHIP And the icing on the proverbial cake... Two Games worth of Mike Gonzalez - 0.1 IP, 3 H, 1 BB, 3 ER, 81.00 ERA, 12.00 WHIP My only saving graces have come from a paltry two innings of Mike Adams and Jim Henderson in adequate middle relief, and my unquestioned ace is Zack Greinke, because he's been cooperative enough to have a sore arm and have his start pushed back to the 4th game of the year. Oh, and that I traded away Axford, who's also been a dumpster fire. But then, so have Buehrle and Ryan Howard, so meh.
Finbabble Garp 1 Posted April 7, 2013 Update: I didn't bother moving Fiers into the starting lineup, just out of despair and hopelessness. Result? 5 IP, 9 H, 1 BB, 6 ER, 10.80 ERA, 2.0 WHIP. On top of which, like half the Oriole lineup had a career year against me last week.

I was actually a little bitter on seeing Ludwick go in the third. What I wouldn't give to have my team injured or traded away. Instead, they're pitching. Like you, I figured I was pretty screwed on saves and I'm holding out hope that Gonzalez can find a way to squeak out over a dozen holds in that mess of a bullpen. Then I realize it's not 2009.
