GreenTD 56 Posted September 20, 2013 I was contemplating starting Justin Houston over Clay Mathews in my IDP league. 4.5 sacks & 2 forced fumbles would've been a nice start. Fml...
steelers2101 7 Posted September 20, 2013 No, I did not bench them. Philly can score but they are prone to mistakes, especially Vick, as we saw.
5Year1 23 Posted September 20, 2013 tough call to start them on the road against a great offense. i'm not sweating it. still got bears against pitt sunday night. ^^^. Doing the smart thing in the long term, like going with the Bears, pays off more than taking blind risks like those who started the Chiefs did.
xbishopx 6 Posted September 20, 2013 I picked up the Chiefts DST in both of my leagues before last nights game but only had the guts to start them in one league where I didn't have an alternative. I would have went Vikings or Bills as I'm picking my DST week to week but they were taken earlier. Must say that after this performance I won't hesitate to roll with them. They give up big plays but they make up for it with turnovers, sacks, ints, etc. Very athletic and talented group there. They were basically setup to stop Vick and the aerial attack and did not focus on the run game. Smart play as we all know Chip wouldn't settle for just running the ball. I don't have any concern with rolling with the Vikes at home though against the new Browns this week. I don't expect 20+ points but if I can get about 15 I'd be happy. American Chewy 98 Posted September 20, 2013 will be plenty of opportunities to use the chiefs the next 6 weeks as they have the giants, titans, raiders, texans, browns, and bills coming up. at least 5 of those look like great matchups. grab them now while you can. mo' scores moe 0 Posted September 21, 2013 Picked them up this week only because Buffalo broke Carolina's secondary last weekend. I thought they'd be solid but wasn't expecting what we saw Thurs. night. My opponent this week had Vick & DeSean. Only down by 2 going into Sun.
