DaBeerz 88 Posted September 9, 2014 My roster is fairly solid, I won my first game handily but there are a few players I'm interested in on the WW. I can drop a TE/WR for a WR, or a RB for a RB. I can make one pickup today, and one tomorrow. let me know if you would drop any players for the follwing, post yours and I'll help you. Steve Smith (WR - BAL) obvious pickup, he still looks decent. With Ray Rice gone, they'll have to rely on passing game more? Chris Ivory (RB - NYJ) is this game an anomaly, or is he basically splitting carries down the middle? Greg Jennings (WR - MIN) had a good game, was targeted 7 times. Mark Ingram (RB - NO) had a 2 TD game, should he be a good backup RB? My roster: Giovani Bernard RB CIN Montee Ball RB DEN Jordy Nelson WR GB Vernon Davis TE SFO Julius Thomas TE DEN Joique Bell RB DET Lamar Miller RB MIA Dwayne Bowe WR KAN Jordan Reed TE WAS
icy_water 4 Posted September 9, 2014 I think Ivory is in an almost Joique/Bush situation as 1A and 1B, so compared to Lamar where it is CLEAR that Moreno is the man...I would drop him for Ivory. Ingram's situation is fools gold to me, 4 mouths to feed just in the backfield with Pierre still almost doubling Ingram in snaps. Not only that but they're still a pass happy team. Between Smith and Jenings, I think I have more faith in Jennings. Didn't see his game but did see Smith. He looked slow, is very old, with a lot of miles and injury concerns, If I were to drop any other players, it would be Reed who got hurt yesterday and may be out "a few weeks" also was hurt last year. Just doesn't look too durable. Thanks for mine.
Cuse9 129 Posted September 9, 2014 I like Ingram here over Reed. It may be worth it to grab Ingram and see what happens. If he is going to be a big part of the Saints offense and get a TD or two every week, he may be a great grab. Reed is in an offense that has a lot of options and RG3 looks like crap. Having Julius and Vernon, you don't need Reed.
