End Zone 0 Posted August 18, 2015 What is the difference between standard scoring cheat sheets and PPR? What does even PPR stand for? sorry first year in this fantasy football stuff.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted August 18, 2015 PPR stands for point per reception. It increases the value of players who catch more passes. Running backs like Shane Vereen, Darren Sproles, and Danny woodhead become viable starters just because of receptions. It also makes a player like Leveon Bell that much more valuable since he caught 84 passes last year. Likewise with Forte and his 105. Antonio Brown was by far the best receiver, partly because of how many passes he caught. Plus the top tight ends are capable of near 100 reception seasons which brings them to 1st/2nd round value. Ray_T 591 Posted August 18, 2015 Yep, in PPR scoring, RB's who catch a lot of passes are fantasy gold.
