Kelvarr 13 Posted October 1, 2015 I can still salvage my season (I hope), but here is my team (1 RB/WR/TE flex): QB (1): Roethlisberger Carr RB (2): Le'Veon Bell Morris Karlos Williams Givanni Bernard Knile Davis WR (2): Dez Bryant Watkins Maclin DeSean Jackson Martavis Bryant Victor Cruz TE (1): Graham DEF (1): NYJ K (1): Tucker I am about 99% sure I'm going to drop Cruz, maybe Jackson. Here are what is on the scrap heap: QB - Dalton, Taylor, Flacco RB - Dunbar, WR - Rishard Matthews, K. Wright, Harvin, Stevie Johnson TE - Clay What should I even do here? Martavis being back next week will help out slightly, but I am in an ever-deeper hole every week.
49erGold 36 Posted October 1, 2015 Don't panic Cruz and DJax will be back likely next week. I drop Bryant... who is out. You need a week 4 starter grab Harvin great handcuff for Sammy. Ride it out this week I would deal for healthier WRs. I got injuries across the board but I dealt Bryant away got Harvin pre-season ww I was worried about Cruz... had Dez pre-injury thinking I be screwed if he gets hurt too. As far as DJax he likely the top Was WR and like Cousins vs RGIII one of the reasons I grabbed him. I try to get DWill cheap maybe swap Knile. I don't like Morris going forward... so a Hill swap maybe I throw in an injured WR. Not sure your WR core deep enough to have Dez so a deal is possibility. Those guys value is low so I wait on Morris if you get garbage... DWill maybe is ww I grab him asap. I dropped him week 3. You should of done deals earlier but your lucky 3 of your WR got injuries likely healed next week... maybe 1-2 might get re-injured. Don't play with injuries I got like at least 3 healthy RBs or WRs despite my many injured ones.

My league doesn't like trading all that often (for whatever reason), but they certainly won't trade an injured guy. DWilliams is a clear-cut free agent, so I can pick him up without any issues. I didn't like Morris a ton when I drafted him, but he was far and away the best where I got him, based on his past consistency (albeit lack of explosiveness). 49erGold 36 Posted October 1, 2015 I feel you just got to buy at the right time... I got Gore last week and started him too. Think few overlooked RBs are TJ Yelton, Hill... not gonna lie all RBs are basically what they are not many hidden guys left... you might hate me but getting injured guys at this point makes sense. Ellington is a guy very risky but worth a shot especially if you get a healthy WR in return. Think WR + RB swaps are best way to do deals. I got him in two leagues... if an old washed up CJ can get those yds imagine a faster ppr guy like him. I can see Morris + WR swap working there... maybe you can get a WR upgrade. I always try to flat out win trades... last week swapped Crabtree + Demarco for Gore + Sammy. I had a solid WR core already... and looking for that dependable 2RB I was missing up till then. I also needed Sammy later in the yr as byes/schedule piled up. I swap an injured Knile for an DWill asap... he is your cog and shown to be a great handcuff. Is K Will in your ww think he will be great week 4. You got to keep trying as far as deals... nobody wants to trade obvious injured/bad player you got to sell usually of a great/bad week depending who you want lol. So waiting to get a healthy team and Morris great start likely up your trade value.
