Diesel07 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Well, i lugged my PC into the room and when i started her up, i got an error saying a file was corrupt well i just started around inside the pc, turned this puppy back on and she was up and running. Boy was i scared! For a second, i thought i was going to have to fraft from my cousins adware infested comp. When i logg into fanball and start browsing, my f'ken PC freezes. It did it twice on me, so this crap better work. If anyone can find a fix for this, ill appreciate it. Zap 0 Posted September 8, 2004 You are logged in at the draftroom. No need to mess with any other fanball stuff. Just get that java room going. There is a link for a java upgrade with the compatability test on the page before you enter the draftroom. If you don't have trouble with new downloads, then upgrade. If you do then don't mess with it. I suggest going into the draftroom and using the various features. Maximize the draftroom window, and close all other windows except one for this message board. Maybe you should avoid the chat. More java. If you can draft at yahoo, you can draft at fanball. Yahoo's platform is harder on the pc than fanball's. Keep me posted. I will be away from the pooter for a couple of hours. When I come back I will post "emergency draft" procedures here. But, I'd hate to resort to that. It will really slow us down. No worries! Zap 0 Posted September 8, 2004 If you were willing to spring for hotel, why not go to a Kinko's or some internet cafe and log on. I don't know the going rate, but I did it from Hawaii last year a couple times. Brand new machine, high speed connect. I think I was paying 9 bucks an hour. That's cheaper than the Holiday Inn. Oh, and don't expect a bunch of phone calls (or one long one). I'm going to be a little busy. Here's an idea. Get yourself connected. Diesel07 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Well if it wasnt for this hurricane, i wouldnt be staying in a hotel. My whole block is STILL without electricity. I "think" i found out the problem. I changed the batteries in my wireless mouse and played around on it for about a good 20 mins and no problems . I was logged into fanball one time, but couldnt find the link on where to go for our draft. Well right now im at my mothers friends, so when i get back to my hotel, and my pc is done defragmenting, than i think im good to go. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zap 0 Posted September 8, 2004 You didn't find the draft room? You claimed your team. I'm not sure how that worked for you all though because I didn't get the invite. I sent it. On fanball's main NFL page on the main menu across the top, there is a link to the online draft room.
