vlade21 0 Posted September 9, 2004 A rivalry game against the only guy who is in my other league as well as this one. I'm starting Garner over Dunn just because my opponent in Bacon is starting Dunn against me. So of course that will probably cost me the game. Jay Foreman (Bluepointers) and Jamie Sharper (Jumpers) will battle each other for tackles in the Texans game. Three defensive players (Colvin, Freeney, and Doss) get things started tonight. Interestingly the 'Pointers start Marc Bulger, despite drafting Vick two rounds earlier. Yet even Bulger went two rounds before the Jumpers' Brad Johnson. If Tampa Bay struggles against Gibbs' defense, I could be in trouble. Marc Bulger was of course a Shark Jumper last year, much to Tusekan Raiders' dismay, and I had a headache trying to decide whether to start him or Steve McNair each week. Will the Bluepointers also end up with controversy, between Bulger and Vick? I didn't like the Barlow and Westbrook picks that early, so it will be interesting to see how they perform against me right off the bat. I had a tough decision between Faulk, Henry, DDavis, Dillon, and Moss, but didn't really consider either of those two. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Diesel07 0 Posted September 10, 2004 This should be a good matchup. The QB decisions you had last year are the EXACT same reasons why i passed on Vick this year. He was tempting in the 7th. I like the logic on Dunn, and i'd probably do the same thing. The LB battle should be a fun little battle to watch all year. Whoever outperforms the other will have bragging rights on the defensive side of the ball. I like Sharper ALOT, but if foreman steps up, which i dont think he will, than PIK could have the last laugh, especially getting him at a better value. Whoah! At first, i predicted Shark Jumpers to win by a landslide due to Faulk playing aginst Ari and his WR corps, but looking at the matchups PIK has (ari, cin, ar) vs Sharks (ari), i give PIK the advantage PIK95 > Shark Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Garner and B®ad Johnson, about 3 points combined. I've got a decent cushion but Howie still has Barlow and Westbrook going. I might need some big plays from IDPs to pull this one out. vlade21 0 Posted September 13, 2004 I think all our guys are done except for Mike Rucker. (Since I stupidly picked Garner instead of Griffin.) Bluepointers are up 72.34 to 71.36, not counting the tackles of the players who played today. I'm pretty sure I'm focked since many of my IDPs played before today. Let's see... Sharper 9, Dawkins 6, Farrior 5.5, Ellis 1.5... Foreman 4.5, Draft 1.5, Henderson 3.5, Webster 2.5, Scott 6, Wistrom 0.5.. that's an extra 22 for me and 18.5 for PIK. Wow this is close!! After cutting down and dropping out of alot of my leagues last year, I have allowed my number of FF teams to balloon back up to 25-30 teams (including 20 Yahoo teams and 5-6 moneyleagues) again. I have been so busy making waiver moves and such with all of the teams that I barely have time to look at the scores any more. I didn't even realize I was playing you in Toral.
