Noob question

If I have a WR in and my opponent has my WR's QB in... should I sit that WR? For example if Im starting R. Cobb and my opponent is starting A. Rodgers. How do you play that? Thanks

I think you play the best players you have on your roster with the best match ups. Start your studs even if they do not have great match ups. I failed to do this last week and DeMarco Murray blew up on my bench.

To answer your question specifically I think if Cobb is one of your best WRs then you play him as it almost offsets a great QB if you have his best weapon, and the production actually occurs of course. It actually works better the other way as in if my opponent had per say Julio Jones I would definitely want to start Matt Ryan. If Julio blows up I know I have the guy starting on my team helping him do so.

Not sure if that helps you at all but that was my blabber.

scottsind is correct. U want your QB to be your top scorer (esp a top QB) so if you can steal some of his thunder, do it. Remember a 50 yd TD is 11 pts for a WR (plus 1 PPR) and only 6 or 8 for the QB
