global player lock?

since when have we had a global player lock instead of each player locking when their game starts?

 

im short a kicker and have been trying to add one since TNF.

 

if this is how we have always done it, I apologize.

 

if this is a mistake, I want to play Janikowski at kicker this week (dropping no one as I have an empty roster spot)

Its not supposed to be that way. It should be players are available for pick up until the start of their game and the Thursday game only locks Thursday players. Ill have to look at fixing that when I get home.

I can't figure out how to unblock these pick ups. There are five options for where waiver rules may be hidden for why the unversal lock is in place. I've spent a half hour and gone into each of the five options multiple times, I've switched on and off possible solution levers, then exited commish mode and entered as a player, I can't unlock these players.

 

I'll just give you Janikowski using commish override but I am still baffled at how to solve this problem in the future. I suppose I'll go look at everything again.

I figured it out. I kept looking in all the logical places over and over again. Global lock was somewhere else entirely. I don't know how it got turned on or whatever purpose it serves. It shouldn't be a problem now.
