Good morning

Fun weekend here. Went to Greek fest with some friends, ate a little too much and definitely drank too much, but Opa!  I recovered on Sunday, watched Nascar and was disappointed again by how the new car handles road courses. Once the field sorts itself out by good road course drivers vs not, that's about it. The passing stops.  I think there was one green pass for the lead during the entre race and it happened in the first 5 laps. Hope they fix that, cause road courses used to be my favorite with the last generation car.

On this day in 1942 Walt Disney's animated movie "Bambi", based on the book by Felix Salten, is released. Thumper deserves a spin-off movie.

Every geek have a great week.

Mornin' Mike. Congrats on the win! Chase running out of gas focked me. Way to bounce back! You said a couple of weeks ago you were determined not to finish last and you've made a steady climb to the middle of the pack with 1 race left before the playoffs.

Yeah, if there is one thing you don't expect to see at a Nascar race - mind blowing stupidity from a Hendrick crew. :shocking:

Also on this day in 1878, Surrey wicket-keeper Ted Pooley completes a then-1st class cricket record 8 stumpings in a County match against Kent at The Oval.

How can anybody forget that?

Right?

And here I thought I was making a good call when I parked Reddick just before the end of S2 and pulled Chase out of the garage.  :wall:
