Thanks. I've been thinking about calling it quits for the past year. Like a bunch of companies, they have their core values. And one thing I never put up with in my time at the place was disrespect from the managing directors. And I always called them out directly. But this time this one dude was in a couple meetings I was in and he was a major ahole to a couple people. That was the time I made my decision. No more. I just wrote HR an email giving notice. I didn't mention anything about anything other than  an erosion of core values over the years and can he send an email to my project to let them know I'm done. 

I have 7 older brothers and sisters living around the country. I'll probably take some trips to visit. A couple of them have cancer and life is too short to keep putting things off.

My girlfriend is 20 years younger than I am so she won't be calling quits for a while. She likes her job so that's cool. But she can work from anywhere so that's cool when we travel. 

Most of my hobbies are physical activity, so I'll have more time to workout and such. Which is awesome. 

I'll.keep my eye open for an interesting part time job to stay social I'm guessing, but that's down the line in maybe 6 months. 

There's a guy who lives down the road from me and he does some volunteering at a hospital and another place. I may ask him more about it.

After all these years, this guy posts something of epic substance, its richness so much so that it warrants a real deep-dive dissection of its contents. It's fertile earth for analysis, a soul-revealing look into a clown whose prior content equated to a flavorless, unfilling, cringe-inducing rice cake. I applaud this post. I want to know this post. I want to make love to this post.

Do you get more triggered and obsessed than this Nancy? mdcack, yeah, but this is awesome to watch these girls lose it.
