himmystyles 30 Posted October 17, 2023 Do you guys see cousins’ performance this past week a true indicator of how he will be without Jefferson, or do you see him bouncing back? are you sticking with him as your qb despite this and his crappy sf matchup, or are you going with another option? More interested to see what those of you playing in short bench leagues are doing where it might be more difficult to carry another qb on roster.
Ray_T 753 Posted October 17, 2023 Minny has solid depth at the WR position so while this will hurt them it wont completely shut down Cousins value. That said.... I'd avoid starting him against San Fran if I could. Even with a fully healthy Jefferson it is dicey.

Would need to pass on any of the waiver guys to carry another qb. Howell is best avail. Should I just roll with Kirk?

I like his matchup this week (giants) and it wouldnt surprise me if he outperformed Cousins who has a terrible matchup. but if you need to drop Cousins to pick him up, my answer would be no. if you have a bum or a scrub you can put on the wire for one week, then yes. pick him up. at least for this one week
