I can't stream from my phone to TV anymore

I use an app called DOFU sports to watch out of market games. 

I USED to be able to simply plug in to TV to phone with HDMI, and turn to appropriate HDMI input.

It used to be whatever was on my phone, showed up on the TV. 

Now..... when I go from Android (phone) to tv and turn to the appropriate HDMI Input, it shows some oddball android home screen, with "Google" some other odd browser, etc.  That's the up part

WTF is going on? 

 

Any "easy" way to stream from Android to TV?

Maybe they have some new thing in your phone that blocks it ? Go buy a older tablet and may work ?
