I’m curious about this - what instance did Obama act outside an AUMF or the WPA?

Didnt say he did. But the left is whining about “He didnt go through congress!!””….They have a bounty (which i think Biden did) and a court order. Trump doesnt have to…but NOBODY had issue with it when Obama was literally bombing places

?? What are you talking about. I didn’t complain about Joe or Obama doing it. If you have some reading comprehension, you could see I’m jamming at the left because you guys are constantly in perpetual whiny drill mode about everything Trump does thus we have the term TDS. Good thank you for also agreeing that Trump following a court order is justified to go get him.

A few things:

- You were saying the left didn’t object to Obama issuing military attacks but then you also acknowledged he didn’t act illegally, which is the primary point about Trump.

- About the warrant: The comp for Maduro is Noriega, which was done by Bush Sr. Bush did follow the WPA & he got an authorization from Congress.

- I’m just saying your values are all that matter. If you don’t think a president needs to report to Congress, fine, leave it at that.

Didn’t you just agree that you couldn’t think of Obama or Biden acting outside an AUMF or the WPA? That’s why legality never came up.

Ok on the last part, glad you cleared that up. The conservative position is all presidents are bound by the Constitution to get a DOW/AUMF and when applicable to follow the WPA in all situations.

There’s going to be a debate in federal court on this. But yes IMO shifting 10% of our naval assets, conducting 11 military raids including use of missiles, followed by a tactical seizure involving three militaries & our DOD & IC is warfare. I’ll add that even if it’s not ‘war’ it does require the WPA. Again Bush Sr did both AUMF & WPA with Noriega.
