He must be embarrassed by something about her as he constantly lies about a drunk driver killing her and the kid. The guy's life he ruined by that accusation doesn't matter to creepy joe. The accident was his wife's fault. But to this day he lies about it. His son beau. Creepy joe must be embarrassed by him because to this day he keeps lying about how he died. Trying to make the guy some war hero. His son hunter. Drug addled crook. Just a total waste of life. Creepy joe must be embarrassed by him because he keeps telling lies about how he didn't do nuffin illegal, and that hunter is the smartest guy he knows. (Which may be true given who creepy joe keeps company with). His daughter Ashley. He steers clear of her after she came out and told the world that dear old creepy daddy joe would slip into the shower with her every chance he got. He's embarrassed but should be in prison, but he'll keep telling the lies that it's not true. She was afraid to focking take showers because of that POS child toucher. Creepy joe's granddaughter that he refuses to acknowledge. Dude is president of the US with immense privlidges at his beck and call and he won't reach out to his own flesh and blood to share any of it all because he's embarrassed by her for some focked up reason. He actually lives the lie that she doesn't exist. Just go ask him how many grand kids he has. His whole life is one massive embarrassment full of lies.
