And you deny having any dislike or hatred of LGBTQ people. Yeah, right. 😅

Not me, I'm very Anti-Tranny.

I love the Gays though.

Dyke is the updated term.

Well, not really...at least it is not universally accepted in the LGBTQ community to my understanding.

It is like the term "queer" in that it was used as a derogatory term for over 60 years by anti-gay folks, but then adopted by some lesbians starting in the 70s (there is a motorcycle club that has participated in Pride Parades for decades that call themselves "Dykes on Bikes").

That said, there is some similairty to the "N" word with Blacks in that they lesbians may call themselves or each other that, but use by someone who is not lesbian may not always be appropriate (depending on the circumstances).

I don't believe Rachel Maddow has ever referred to herself as a "dyke" although I think I read somewhere years ago that she said she was a "butch lesbian" or something like that.

Queers has been socially acceptable since the show Queer Eye for Straight Guy.

Why do I have to accept anything?

That is a matter of debate. It wasn't socially acceptable by all gay men then nor is it now irrespective of the Bravo show (which is why the Q in "LGBTQ" is often referred to as "questioning" and not always as "queer").

The gays and the trannies are totally different and should not be lumped together.

If so, why does every gay/lesbian organization refer to themselves as of or part of the LGBTQ community? None have dropped the "T" when identifying or talking about themselves. So, obviously there is not a problem that they find with "being lumped together."

Fun Facts from AI overview:

The "T" is added:

In the late 1990s, activists began using LGBT to include transgender people, reflecting a growing understanding of the distinction between sexual orientation and gender identity.

Solidarity and inclusion: The inclusion of the "T" was a significant step in building solidarity within the community, recognizing that the struggles faced by transgender individuals are connected to the struggles of lesbian, gay, and bisexual people.

so, why does every gay/lesbian or

Gays DESPISE TRANNIES!!!

I have gay neighbors (Liberals and very nice people) who absolutely hate Trannies and say they are an embarrassment to the movement.

Which they are.

TRANNIES ARE NOT GAYS!!!!!!
