Call me crazy, but I can't help but take stories like that under consideration when thinking about whether there's an afterlife. Otherwise D!ck Cavett and Rue McClanahan either had some wild hallucinations, or are flat out lying for no reason (other than for the show, but I don't think it's a "for entertainment only; not real stories" type of show). Can't remember if it was the original paranormal activity, or one of the sequels, but it scared the shite out of me and I've never watched anything like that again.
