easilyscan 925 Posted July 11 Love this! Before watching the video, I considered countering with a press conference rant from Jerry Burns, Minnesota Vikings coach from the mid to late 80s. But this is on a whole different stratosphere!

"85% of the world is out there working for a living, the other 15% come here!!" I gotta say, I've never heard a real rant like this before. The whole Jim Mora "Playoffs??!!", the Dennis Green "They are what they thought they were", Herm Edwards "You play to win the game", the "I'm a Man!!" one from whoever college coach said that, were all lame compared. I haven't heard of the Jerry Burns one, but if you want to nominate maybe Mike Tyson saying "I want to eat his children" or any of John McEnroe's outbursts, I would listen. The irony is that he was probably right when he said those that came to the day games were mostly scumbags. Back then it was affordable for a loser with no job to go to a game, today, not so much. Buy the cheapest tickets in the grandstands for next to nothing and move up to the field. The fans were a bunch of drunk 20 somethings with no jobs.
