cpit 3 Posted Tuesday at 03:25 PM Does it seem odd to anyone else that Evans was pretty much out cold after bouncing his head off the ground, yet no one (Aikman/Buck) mentioned "concussion" at all during the follow-up on TV? I'm wondering if they are limited in using the C-Word ('concussion") on-air anymore due to the negative PR associated with the NFL and CTE. It was SUCH an obvious concussion. RareN64Dream 23 Posted Tuesday at 05:35 PM Evans was so banged up on that play that it was a bit hard to tell how badly his shoulder or legs were messed up. But, yeah I did see his head bounce a bit on the field too.
Ray_T 783 Posted Tuesday at 07:31 PM hes listed as being out for a while due to a collarbone injury but wouldnt surprise me if hes also in concussion protocall. but the official diagnosis is a broken clavacle. but the concussion protocall is to keep players from going back in too soon. if hes out weeks (or for the season) with this injury maybe the concussion protocall does not apply. I'm not sure but I'm seeing nothing of this on the posts at the moment. but based on the replay, it would not surprise me if there was a concussion there. but I do think the reason he dropped the ball could easily be the collarbone injury. Sometimes you can momentarily lose control of your body when an injury like that occurs so it is actually possible this is not concussion related.
