Is that what they insist?  Also I think they mean "reverse chronological," which seems odd. 

Is it typical for incoming mayors to scrub the entire social media history of previous administrations on Day 1?

How long has Twitter been around? Just a few mayoral terms so what even is typical? Here’s what I was seeing that may have led to them archiving posts.
