I officially suck this year

I got a gift this week with Priest being out, started Blaylock for a 28+ point swing, and still got destroyed. Thanks in no small part to making the worst choice for a FA QB for Collins' bye week that I could have. And with Brandon Stokley on my bench.

i voted for most of the above. I dont recall who your starters were before you traded for Kevin Jones.

 

QB= bad evaluation/poor talent evaluation

 

Trading your draft picks really thined out your lineup of a top caliber player, like a moss/culpep/ownes. Think of how many more points you woould have each week if you would of landed somone like that opposed to one of those scrubs on your bench. Bad draft strategy

 

Low IQ. Who benches a WR on the Colts, who is playing IN indy, aginst a team called the Texans?

 

Its ok man, it could be worse, you could of lost your 2nd and 5 rounder and had a really really sh!tty 4th rounder

Stokley was a guy I hated to bench this week but he sucked against Minnesota last week and that should have been a good matchup too. He had averaged 5.98 points the last 5 weeks, I decided he was just not much of a factor in the offense with Dallas Clark back healthy. Watching the games he is rarely on the field, and when he got on Manning seemed to miss him every time. I would have started him anyway except that I liked the matchup for Driver (again Minnesota) and felt that Givens and Mason were every-week starters.

The justification doesn't matter, though, I consistently screw up my start/bench decisions so obviously I suck at them.

 

Losing your 2nd and 5th rounder and having a shitty 4th rounder is nothing. I traded my 1st rounder (Marshall Faulk) basically for Michael Bennett right before Bennett was supposed to come back in time for Onterrio Smith's suspension, then Bennett hurts himself again, and since he missed his opportunity to claim the starting job he is totally worthless now. I lost my 3rd rounder (Garner) and my 5th rounder (Heap). I traded Coles (really shitty 4th-rounder) for Kevin Jones. My biggest regret is not picking Moss over Faulk... but then again Moss hasn't played for 3 weeks now.

WOW! You've been pretty unfortunate just like me. Don't you just love getting all excited over a 3rd string player, who was just activated off the practice squad

 

I looked at your lineup and agree with the Driver matchup, but me, i would of put Stokley in over Givens, but than again, i haven't been monitoring Stokley situation.

 

I made the mistake of taking defense WAAAAY too early. Well i learned my lesson, i have 2 of the original 10 starters left on my team

 

ADP=useless

 

If i would have taken the players i was targeting (Dunn, Bruce, Gates) and not worried about their whoopty freken doo ADP, i probably would have done better.

 

All thanks to 420, im still in the hunt.....thats the story of my season!

I voted for bad luck. All this navel gazing is nonsense, vlade. No matter how much we like to gloat that we're good when are teams are good... this FF gig is 97.5% luck (once you become a personnel geek) and the longer I play, this being year 18, the higher that percentage gets in my mind.
