posty 2,296 Posted September 19, 2017 If teams they are playing are out of the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised to see pitches grooved for him... Then you will have September call-ups wanting to prove they deserve to be there next year and will try to overpower him and put a flat fastball right over the plate... Can Giancarlo Stanton hit 5 more to get to 60? or maybe 61? no one was ever or is ever going to hit 61 again, ever. Been waiting to post this. Poor Newbie was so passionate about the Steroids/Bonds thing & he never got the chance to wish Bonds dead.

Talk about Obsessed J/K In newbie's defense, he did wish Bonds dead, he just never openly wished for his assassination.

Well, when he doesn't reach 60 you can bump it and say "I told you so". Going to be tough, he has series against the Mets/Braves who have nothing to play for and probably just want to finish the season, will be playing young pitchers....and against the Diamondbacks who are pretty locked into the WC, but would rather host that game and the Rockies who are only 2 clear of Milwaukee for the last WC. I think he falls shy, maybe 59.

Either the player or the ball is juiced https://www.theringer.com/2017/6/14/16044264/2017-mlb-home-run-spike-juiced-ball-testing-reveal-155cd21108bc
