Can only start 1 RB-have the 7th pick

Recommended Posts

In 16 years of playing fantasy football, I have never played in a league with only starting 1 RB, so I don't have any experience drafting for this setting. My gut tells me to try and get the absolute best RB available with my first pick, which is the 7th overall BTW, even though it's a PPR. My guess is I will be able to choose between Shady, Gordon, Ajai and Howard, unless I offer the owner of the 3rd pick a trade(maybe my 1st and 5th for his 1st) and target Zeke(looming suspension doesn't scare me much with his volume of work)with that 3rd pick(figuring DJ and Bell would go 1 & 2).

Anyone with experience in a 1 RB league that can help? Will I be fine with one of the aforementioned RBs and not make a trade offer?

Any thoughts, opinions and suggestions are welcomed, warranted and needed!!

Thanks a million y'all!!

The one Rb leagues I've been in Rbs go quickly.

I would go Rb first round and take M Gordon.

honestly, It really depends on what is available.

I dont think the Big 3 RB's will make it to you, but if any of them do, they are the obvious choice.

that would be David Johnson, Bell, and zeke.

after that your next best options are McCoy,Demarco Murray, and Jordan Howard (in my opinion)

I'm pretty sure one of them will drop to you.

after that you are looking at Ajayi, Freeman, or M gordon Most likely. all 3 are good choices, but there are questions surrounding each of them (which would be why they are not ranked higher)
