WideoutWizard 0 Posted January 1, 2017 KD Cannon looks like this year's Will Fuller. Below is KD Cannon's profile breakdown. http://www.wideoutwizard.com/future-fantasy-football-kd-cannon-wr/ Cannon projects to be a field stretching x-receiver at the NFL level, and has the same size and speed as Fuller. Both players were very productive during their final college season. Cannon's yards per catch was little low this past season, so hopefully this is not a red flag. Teams value the stretch-x wide receiver more than other receivers, but I do not think Cannon will sneak into the first round like Fuller did. I expect Cannon to be a round two selection. Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted January 1, 2017 I don't put much value into guys like JJ Nelson, Sammy Coates or Will Fuller. Coates team has done fine without him and the other two teams aren't any better because they have a fast guy who can't catch. Why does super speed = poor hands so often? Of course this isn't always true, but sometimes guys get the shot because of their speed but lack the hands to make them a complete receiver.
jaxjag 43 Posted January 1, 2017 Fuller is an interesting case. Started off with a bang (consecutive 100 yard games) and then came down to earth like the rest of the Texans passing game. Good numbers for a rookie but the perception of a drop-off is there due to the big start. Is he a one trick pony? Relying on a guy who might catch a deep ball isn't a great strategy. I'm not sure who he is yet. Didn't see many Texans games but will likely see their play-off game(s). It will be interesting to see where Fuller is projected next year. I watched enough of Fuller to say right now he is a one trick pony. He just drops too many balls. I think he got lucky on a couple of deep shots and a big screen pass early in the year and created more hype than he deserved. He could be good with the right QB. Pair him with a QB like Brock that has an ultra low downfield passing accuracy and you have a guy that will miss far more than he hits.
