I have Drew Brees in a 16 team Dynasty League. I have Andy Dalton as my QB2. I have been offered an injured Andrew Luck straight up for Dalton. Knowing I wont get much out of Luck this season with his lacerated kidney and bum ribs, do I pul the trigger for the future. I have Hasselbeck (Luck's b/u) as well.

 

So Dalton "this year" for Luck for the rest of his career.??

I'll start by saying I've never been in a dynasty league, so I don't always look to the future. With that being said I would make the trade for Luck. I believe his poor play this year was due to injury and poor OL. I think he'll bounce back next year and for the future.

Is this a 2 QB league? If not, this is a no-brainer that you make the trade. If it is a 2 QB league, it depends on where you stand this year. If you are poised to go for it, no, don't do it - you can't trust Hassselbeck. If you are out of it, yes, do it.

Long term Id go Luck especially if you are not in playoff contention. If you are Id lean towards Dalton. But I'd make that trade. And I'm also in a dynasty league with Dalton and if someone offered me Luck Id do it.

Dynasty league...I'd trade the ginger for Luck.

In Dynasty, I think I'd trade away Brees, and keep Dalton for Luck + some other position that can help you.

Dynasty gotta do it, Brees's is still valuable and Luck has way more upside then Dalton
