Ray_T 755 Posted September 17, 2006 well, this is the sort of question where we'd probably need to see your full team to have a good idea of whether this trade would help you. it would also help if we knew the rules (ie. scoring) of your league.

MarkF150 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Pull the trigger! Chambers was a great WR option at the beginning of the season, but with the way CPep has been playing, who knows how Chambers will pann out. Boldin is a great WR and AZ will be playing from behind alot this season so they should be throwing alot. Also if CPep step us his game through the season your WR core will be untouchable. Hasselbeck is a great fantasy option, especially with all of the WR he has now. Poloc2289 0 Posted September 18, 2006 thanks. anyone else got any insight cause this is a hard trade to make for me because of the way Mcnabb's been playing.
shake_a_leg 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I'd take it. You could definately use some improvement at WR and Hasselbeck is probably the most efficient QB in the NFC. Something else to consider on this trade would be the long term benefits....check out Weeks 14, 15, 16 (FF Playoffs) Seattle @Arizona SanFran SanDiego Philly @Washington @NYG @Dallas Seattle's got 2 out of 3 home games versus 2 out 3 less-than-stellar defenses. Philly's got 3 tough divisional games on the road. Based on these 3 games, I'd take Hasselbeck and ride out the season. Plus you get a top 10 WR to go along with Holt....and Branch and Colston once they get rolling. That looks like a GREAT playoff team to me.
Poloc2289 0 Posted September 18, 2006 yea but will seattle be into the playoffs already and just be playing their backups by week 16? thats something to think about cause the eagles will no doubt be fighting for their lives. its just a difficult situation

It's possible...and trust me, I know cuz I've been burned by Philly no less...but schedule aside, gaining Boldin in your receiver core will be a huge upside. McNabb can't keep putting up 50 FFP a week....can he?
Poloc2289 0 Posted September 19, 2006 somebody help me with this
paul revere 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I'd do it. Boldin is goingto get his every week and Hasselbeck is consistent as well. Adding Anquan will take your receivers from decent to above average. Once Culpepper stops fumbling the ball every other play, chambers will be a great #3.
wiscsports1234 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I would take this trade, you get Boldin to boost your WR corps and Hasselbeck is more than capable to put up McNabb's numbers if not better. Thanks for answering mine.
Poloc2289 0 Posted September 19, 2006 the problem im having is mcnabb's earning me so many points right now, more then both of them combined. also he might be playing more come playoff time in weeks 16 & 17. so should i wait a few weeks (eagles schedule is easy with San Fran and Green Bay coming up) or should i pull the trigger now? NJ_Shoney 0 Posted September 19, 2006 seems like a no brainer. Hasselbeck's on par with McNabb and you get Boldin. I'd do it.
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 19, 2006 I have McNabb as well. I wouldn't do it. Not now anyway, maybe later in the season if my backup has numbers somewhat close I would. I am 2-0 because of McNabb. I think I picked him in the 3rd or 4th round. What a steal! Boldin is a nice WR to have and Hass will get the job done but other than the 4th quarter Sunday, McNabb has been on fire. J5 0 Posted September 19, 2006 This is a tough one. McNabb is playing great right now and Hasselbeck and Boldin are not. With Pork Chop being out now and the acquistion of Branch, I could see Seattle passing more. I think I would pull the trigger on this trade. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=0#entry2705460
thannay 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I would do it. Boldin is a monster. Hasselbeck is quietly solid too.
