MarkF150 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I have been offered a trade, I get L Jordan, I give up Tinker Bell and T Williamson. I have both Bell and Williamson in my flex spots. I think Bell will be the starter in a few games and we get 1 pt per 20 Ret yards so Williamson is a pretty good Flex option in my league. What do you think? Will Jordan step up? WILL answer yours. I think jordan will definitely step up, if they are flex players then Jordan would certainly be a better one. It's only a matter of time with him. thirdflat 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I would have to say that I would not want any part of Jordan...as long as he's on the Raiders. I'm not convinced the Raiders are going to score 100 points this year. Just my 2 cents.
firehawks 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Jordan will be fine. Look at the 2 defenses he faced. I am convinced most (not all) of the first round picks would have done nothing against SD and BALT. Jordan will end up being a top 10 rb when the season is done. The bye week is the best thing for the Raiders. Get Walter used to being a starter, and game plan around that. Time to fix the o-line. Mark my words, Raiders will win week 4 (home vs Clev) and Jordan will get 100 yds and a td. Jordan was my 1st pick (# 11 in a 16 team league). What has saved my ass, is Westrbook in 2nd round. He has preformed like a 1st round pick. Mad at myself for taking D. Jackson in 3rd round instead of Gore though.
manola 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I would probably make the trade if I were you, and hope that Jordan has a good game against Cleveland in week 4 (They're on a bye next week). If Jordan has a good game against Cleveland, I'd then try to trade him for a RB that may be more consistent the rest of the way. That Oakland OLine doesn't look like it can stand up against a good D, so I'd get Jordan against a bad D (Cleveland) and then trade him while his value is up. Skol Vikes! 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I may be alone here, but I wouldn't make that trade. Of those three players, Troy Williamson is the player that catches my eye the most. He has really been finding a groove with Brad Johnson. Bell vs. Jordan? I don't know - both are crapshoots. High risk, mediocre reward players. Williamson, though, is probably going to be productive for the entire season. Here's my question
throttlers 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I like Bell over Jordan. Oakland is going to struggle all year. I think Jordan will have to so somewhat better, but how much is the question. I am facing a similar situation with a guy who wants to trade me Jordan for Stallworth. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234359
