Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 2, 2006 Yahoo Public League, no ppr. 1pt=20yds receive/rush, 1pt=50yds pass, 6pt=td I think that we're the 2 strongest teams in the league. He wants to trade TO, Delhomme and Foster for Portis, Duckett, and Glenn. Is this smart? I think it makes me stronger at WR but it's high risk, high reward for him with Portis His team QB Manning Delhomme Simms RB Dunn Foster Green WR Owens Branch S. Moss Toomer TE Shockey Franks K Hall DEF ATL DEN My team QB Bledsoe Brunell RB Portis R.Brown C.Taylor M.Bell Duckett WR Wayne Houshmandzadeh Burress Glenn TE Miller Clark K Graham DEF New England Thanks fantasy minds

badassbroncs 0 Posted September 2, 2006 ur improving ur team ten fold if TO plays , but u aswell are taking some risk with him. I like the upgrade at qb. I am not sold on Bledsoe even though he looked good in preseason, and u still would have solid rbs on ur team and Foster could put up good #s if he stays healthy. I think go for it! Buffettguy77 0 Posted September 2, 2006 I like this trade for you. You have plenty of depth at RB and really at receiver too. This would be a definite upgrade in the QB area and you'd still be strong all the way across. Ronnie Brown and Foster would start for you and who's to say that Foster won't stay healthy all year long. It's possible and with the way Carolina likes to run the ball and play D, you'd be in good shape. I say do it.

clace1987 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Personally i would not do it i think TO is big risk to part ways w/ a stud RB albeit he is hurt. Saying that u do have his backup and ur wr situation looks to be okay still. I think by the end of the year T. Glenn's number will be close to TO's. The only thing that u might want to do is get a better backup qb. Delhomme is good, but maybe u can trade him for simms cause i think he will have a good year. Foster will get hurt and DeAngelo Williams will be the starter by Wk. 7...so i would stay put if i were u
The NEWshutdownMAN 0 Posted September 2, 2006 i would say totally DONT do it. portis, though injured is still 1 round rb value, which is almost untradeable. even though portis is a risk, so is TO. your wr's are solid enough as it is, and you'll find someone on the waiver wire on some weeks if needed. do not let go of portis. plus your team is solid and strong enough, and it will beat his. if you made that trade, i think he benefits more out of it, and considering you both have the strongest teams, i wouldnt do it. Kam187 6 Posted September 2, 2006 No dont' do it. You dont know what u will get from TO week to week and Foster and Delhomme could have big years. I mean with TO's recent history and his lack of working with Bledsoe, I wouldnt do the deal. Stick it out. You will be fine. dcg 0 Posted September 2, 2006 If you really are the two best teams, I wouldn't do it. I think it helps him more than you. I don't see Delhomme as much of an upgrade (if any) to Bledsoe. If Portis is healthy, this trade helps him big time at RB. And I haven't even gotten started on potential TO headaches (and I know plenty about them, I'm from Philly). http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227656
