manola 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Looking at the teams in my league, I don't feel like I have a realistic shot of winning the championship this year. Because of this, I'm thinking about trying to make my team unbeatable next year...when some of my Rookie RBs hopefully get the bulk of the carries on their teams. Knowing this, would you offer Westbrook and Randy Moss to a RB-deficient team for Larry Fitzgerald? My relevant roster is below: Clinton Portis Brian Westbrook Reggie Bush Laurence Maroney Jerious Norwood Michael Turner Justin Fargas Ryan Moats Randy Moss Antonio Bryant Roy Williams Nate Burleson Mark Clayton Chris Henry Vincent Jackson Greg Jennings Brandon Marshall Roddy White Thanks! I'll answer yours!
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Yes, although I think you will have to offer more in a keeper league. if you could get Fitz, it would be tremendous, but in my league he is someone everyone wants (maybe because were close to Pitt??) and your two would not be enought to get him. Good luck Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232532
jaydawg-vt 0 Posted September 14, 2006 thanks for answering mine. Seems like a good trade but I'm not experienced with Dynasty leagues. If there's any chance you can get a serviceable back with Fitz as well, that would be even better. Doh, RB defficient team probably can't spare one... so nevermind on the last part
Trey5 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I like Westbrook alot - and if he can stay healthy he's still young, but In a dynasty league I'd say do this. Moss seems to have given up (he could have been the best EVER...) and I'd always be worried about Westbrook going down. Thanks for mine but your link doesn't work FYI
mkuz 0 Posted September 14, 2006 i really think that it is probably to early to give up on your team. all you need is a break here or there and you could have a great team. at rb, maroney could easily be this years larry johnson and that could save your team. remeber if you start off the year bad, all you have to do is get into the playoff and you have a shot. as far as your wrs go, you know the raiders are not as bad as they looked the other night. that charger defense was visious and he will get better(he cant get worse) bryant is a good wr who even did good with the browns last year so he will continue to be the #1 in SF and with a lack of other options he should have a very good year. and roy williams schedual get a lot easier week 3 and he could have a great year when it is all said and done. your trade would mean that you are ready to pack this season in, due to lack of depth and loss of starters. i think is too early to make that kind of decision. maybe think about this trade if you are still struggling around the trade dedline. mine, thanks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232553
Type_S_Maniac 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I agree with the post above. I don't think you can make a decision like that just after 1 week. I would give it a few more weeks to see how things play out.
Hefeweizen1 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Do it. Westbrook is a week or two away from having a season ending injury and Moss in oakland is no good. I bet they will want another WR. Add Burleson before they realize he isnt going to get any touches with branch in. Heres mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232656
