mkuz 0 Posted September 14, 2006 first offer was roy williams and mike bell for TO. he was very intrigued and pondered over it for quite some time before rejecting my offer. he said he probably would have done it if mike bell were not splitting carries. so i was thinking of offering this: deshawn foster and javon walker for TO would you be willing to give up foster??? if you were me. and would you take this trade??? if you were him. thanks for your input guys. Trey5 0 Posted September 14, 2006 You can afford to give up foster - but I'm not sure if I'd do this if I was the one with TO - he might need a better WR from you and then it might not be worth it for you. see mine plz http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232535
jaydawg-vt 0 Posted September 14, 2006 as a burnt TO owner last year, I will avoid him like the plague... but, you've got the RB depth so giving up Foster to upgrade at WR seems like a win-win. I'd say go for it Thanks for answering mine!
hephner 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I agree with the last poster that TO is a big risk, and I avoided him in drafts myself. That said, he's worth the risk in this scenario with what you're giving up. Foster was unimpressive in week 1, although I think he'll bounce back once they get Smith back in the mix. And Walker was disappointing in week 1, had a few drops, and Plummer looked terrible. But here again, I think they'll bounce back. I think the problem for the TO owner is that he'd be getting two players who underperformed in week 1, so I'm not sure he'd go for it. Thanks for checking mine.
manola 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Looks like you have the depth on your team to make it a good deal for you. Without seeing his team, I think it's a good offer that he should take. Of course, that's assuming that Foster is likely to start on his team. If he has enough RBs where he wouldn't start Foster, then he may not make the deal though. Thanks for mine. I pretty much agree with the previous posts. Chances are you wouldn't start D Foster over your top 1 and 2 RB's. Why not trade him away to solidify an already stout WR core. I have TO in one league and think is is about to blow up....in a good way that is. He's very cocky and just itching at the chance to prove all his critics wrong. Jump at the this trade... Just my 2 cents
