Paper Champ 0 Posted September 16, 2006 It's ugly, but these are the 3 I have to work with. Caddy at Atlanta Droughns @Cincy Rhodes vs Houston I need to start 2. I like the Rhodes matchup. Indy can get a big lead then run the ball the rest of the day. WIll he lose carries to Addai? Caddy is my strongest back, but his matchup is not great and he is dinged. Droughns and the Cleveland O line is not good. Which 2 do I start? Please help...Leave link and I will help you.
oldschoolking 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Rhodes and Caddy. Indy is gonna kill Houston and Cadillac will get his touches. That Tampa O ain't gonna be as bad this week.
donkeyjotes 54 Posted September 16, 2006 Rhodes is a no brainer and I'd go Cadi #2 just because I think Clev is going to get worked and abadon the run. I don't really like either of those matchup's though this week. Cadi could end up with a real nice game but those back issues worry me quite a bit. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233461
Dascoopman 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I agree with the others i'd go Rhodes and Caddy just cause the Browns are like the Raiders to me I wouldn't touch any of thier players with a 10 foot pole based on what i've seen from them. Thanks for mine.
robzm19 6 Posted September 16, 2006 Im gonna have to disagree here. Id go droughns and caddy. yes droughns had a bad week but he still is going to get more carries. rhodes own team really isnt sold on him so why should you be. he is rbbc and will definately lose carries to addai. go what your undisputed starters this week man you should be alright. Boomer_Sooner 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Caddy and Rhodes. Droughns has nearly 0 potential. Please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233466
hadji 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Caddy and Droughns. I like Droughns matchup because Cleveland usually plays Cincy very tough. When in doubt you start the full time guy with guaranteed touches as opposed to the part time guy in Rhodes. Caddy will play this weekend despite the back and may have some room to run against Atlanta if John Abraham is out. help me out: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233469
Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted September 16, 2006 Droughns, 11-27-0 last week. What else do you need to know?
bigpawcane 0 Posted September 16, 2006 i like caddy and rhodes b/c caddy will get his touches and i am still not sold on addai stealing the rock from rhodes.I know all about the Indy situation and i am in the same boat with ya since i also have addai and rhodes. I like rhodes better also bc i think he is a better pass blocker than addai.(Did you see Addai get blow d up a few times last week? I did)Addai may take the job or get it by default (injury) but im keeping both until something happens, Indy scores alot of points and if ya got there RB he s bound to have 10 tds and 1200 yds if its not totally rbbc...... I agree. You need to go with the undisputed starters. Who is to say once they get the lead Ind. doesn’t just run Addai to see what he can do. Rhodes had a great year for thema couple of years ago so they know what he can or cannot do.
sezu 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I like rhodes and williams too. After carrying droughns all last season, I have no faith he'll ever have a big game, and very little faith he'll even put up respectable numbers. To top it off I think cleveland will be worse running the ball this year than last.
aauhoops33 0 Posted September 16, 2006 caddy, and droughns, why take a running back splitting carries when you can start 2 starters? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233506
strangebrew 0 Posted September 16, 2006 i'd go with caddy and rhodes. cleveland's line is a mess.
Paper Champ 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Wow. Looks like a 50/50 split between Droughns and Rhodes for the #2 back with Caddy at #1. Compelling arguements either way. Thanks for the help and I guess I am still on the fence here.
Wheaties 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I'd go with Cadillac and Rhodes. At least you know the running game for Indy will still be applicable in the second half. You can't be so sure about that with Cleveland on the road. Also Rhodes got the goalline carry last week, so that's another positive.
himmystyles 30 Posted September 16, 2006 Caddy and Droughns.... I can't imagine Reuben still being held to 27 yards on only 11 ATTEMPTS... they will try to pound the ball early.. True if they fall behind he will lose carries but I also think that Reuben will demand the ball more, seeing as how his stats stuck out like a sore thumb last week. The Rhodes matchup is enticing, but I think Addai will vulture a lot of carries. Thanks for answering mine.
