bearphin 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I have been offered a trade which has me really sitting on the fence. I know it could potentially help me a great deal but at what price? Here's the scenario - I have been offered Peyton Manning and Reggie Bush for LT2 and a kicker. This is not a keeper league. Here is my team as it is now: QB McNair Pennington RB LT2 Maroney T. Bell Maurice Drew WR Housh Keyshawn Fitz Greg Jennings Branch (just picked up on waivers!) TE K. Winslow K Reed Brown D Jax Philly I am currently 3-3 (as is almost the whole league. The current best record is 4-2). My QBs the last two weeks have totaled me -4 points! Standard scoring with no PPR. Should I pull the trigger on this deal? Leave me a link and I'll try to help you as well.
redshirtrookie 0 Posted October 18, 2006 its intriguing, but i wouldnt give up LT for that. you need at least a tier 2 RB in return as youre lacking. a guy like kevin jones and perhaps a lower ranked qb.
Keyser Sose 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Please don't do that deal. It will hurt ME from there. LT2 is THE man. He is worth 3 Running Backs. He put up 37 fantasy points last week. Do not, repeat, do not trade him unless you get 3 Peyton Mannings back. Reggie Bush is a sexy player, but not worth the marquee yet. Next year maybe. Hold tight. I'd give my left one for LT2. PhinsFTW 0 Posted October 18, 2006 no way, i wouldnt do that, you'd be left really thin at RB, LT2 is more valuable than Payton and Bush might not do much this year unless deuce gets hurt. thanks for mine.

vjjjc 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Tell the other team to get lost.... Never trade away LT! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245357
jbogli 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I would not pull this trade but i would look to move some of your depth at wideout to improve your QB. Also is a guy like alex smith or Bruce G available on waivers?
PckrsGirl 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Although it is tempting to pick up Manning with McNair out for a week or two, you can't let go of LT. Especially since it is not a keeper league, what good will having Bush do for ya (that is if he does better next year). Stay with what you have. Thanks for your help on mine! goodoldalky 0 Posted October 18, 2006 In a PPR league, it would be worth considering because Bush averages 7/40 ish in the air (11 points PPR.. 4 points non). Since it's non-PPR, you can't pull the trigger, though, because Bush does not score, doesn't get the goal line looks, and has been terrible carrying the football. Pass. Bush isnt enough cuz you'll be really thin at RB. He's awesome, but he wont put up the big numbers until next year. I'm sure he'll have one or two big games this year, but I still would pass. To do a deal like this, he would need to upgrade Reggie bush to someone along the lines of Rudi Johnson talent wise. at that point it would be a deal to make. right now, you're ripping yourself off if you accept this trade offer. HairyMonke 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Don't make the trade unless a QB is highly valueable AND you get points per reception. In my leauge were a QB gets a point for every 15 yards and there is 1 point per recpetion then I would consider it. Otherwise no way!
